Mystical Observations, Finding Lost Items and Oracle Cards

Great strides forward in some cases, over the last couple of weeks, and no progress in others. The latter aspect has been just as important because it has allowed some new ideas to filter through. Some experiments in the lab provided considerable understanding to this relationship that has been developing with my guides and a trip to the bookstore netted a special deck of cards. My intent had been to purchase a tarot deck - had even decided on a Rider-Waite deck - but my guides had other ideas, apparently.

Hopefully you've grabbed a coffee or chai tea...

1) The Disappearing Grimoire

A minor brain lapse left me in an uncomfortable situation. Uncomfortable because I felt like a bit of a moron for not remembering where I had placed my Mediumship Grimoire. The outside is in a gray marble pattern, with a number of planets, stars and other stickies and it is quite noticable. Couldn't find it anywhere and engaged in my first experiment, of this type,  with my doctor teacher guide. I requested to see a picture of where the book was and initially received a hazy image. Informed her that I still did not see and requested that she change it so that I could.

Pretty much immediately, the visual she had sent altered and was quite clear. It revealed what looked like layers - clear plastic and white, neatly stacked on top of each other - and it took only seconds to isolate the location and retrieve my grimoire. It had been sitting open to a new white page (which was why I hadn't seen the flashy exterior) with another smaller white note pad open on top of it....all topped off with the clear plastic holder for my pencil crayons. It was interesting to note that the image she sent me the second time even corresponded exactly to the level I would be viewing the book. Needless to say, this added a great deal of confidence and trust with this guide in particular. Enough to request help once again, and the results were considerably more amazing...

2) Target Intervention

The situation was simple: Had to go out for the afternoon and needed to bring a pair of glasses with me. With both a hard case and a soft one to choose from, I wanted the soft so it would fit easily in my fanny pack. Could not find it anywhere and I looked high and low. Requested assistance from Arabelle, my doctor teacher guide, and she showed me an initial image that I couldn't quite understand. It looked like a stucco ceiling but with oddly shaped swirls that were rounded. Broke contact and began a search for this but couldn't isolate it. Once again requested help, and got another image, only this time there seemed to be some type manila box or container that was topped with a strange shaped bow.

Beside a hall closet, I have a small rolling cart with three shelves where I keep all my work-related stuff together for easy access. On the second shelf, there was a manila folder that was topped with a big metal paper clip with folding arms that oddly resembled a bow from my vantage point. On the bottom shelf directly below sat my glasses case - but not the one I had been searching for. Here's where it gets interesting...

That day, I had been leaving with a specific goal in mind, as detailed below. Assuming that the item I was buying included a bag to carry it home in (I was riding my bike) I was slightly annoyed to be handed the boxy item, along with the receipt over the counter by a seemingly disinterested cashier. The only place I could put is was inside my fanny pack. If I had brought my soft glasses case, I would likely have damaged my glasses riding around with this sizable box stuffed in beside it. It was clear that my guide was aware, before hand, of this occurrence, and took appropriate action to help.

3)  Mystic Oracle?

For some time, I've contemplated purchasing my first deck of tarot cards. The thought has been persistent and a query to my doctor teacher guide left me with no doubt that my interest in tarot, at this point on my path, was anything but random. Back in March, I received an invitation to a Yahoo group called Classic Tarot and while mildly interesting at the time, I took no action. A bit over a month ago, was "urged" more strongly to join this group and then spent the entire time just reading the digests, which proved quite beneficial when it came to actually purchasing them myself.

My travels brought me to the Mandala Bookshop and a section of shelves that housed literally dozens of different types of tarot decks. Almost immediately, one deck jumped out at me and when I ran a palm over it, I received a very noticable warm pulse. I went through the motions of examing several others but knew this was the one I was supposed to buy.

One aspect to this that you should be aware of...my intent in getting them was not so I could make money and do readings or anything similar. It was made plain to me that this would be another excellent form of communication with my guides and that was my entire purpose - to help me develop another method of communicating with my spirit helpers. So, it should have been no great surprise to discover...

The deck I purchased was actually an Oracle deck called "Ask Your Guides Oracle Cards" made by the well-known Sonia Choquette. It involves the same principles as reading a tarot spread but the process primarily centers on assistance from my guides. I haven't had them for very long and my first exploratory readings were to answer specific questions. It is going to be a fascinating education, I think.

Exorcists are summoned from abroad to drive the demons away
Hundreds of Germans, tortured by inner voices, are on the search for priests who can free them from what they believe to be the grip of the Devil, according to an extraordinary radio documentary that has stirred an awkward debate about exorcism in the Catholic Church.

New tools in paranormal research?
Paralore.com, a social networking site has gained momentum in recent months helping to close the communication gap between paranormal professionals and enthusiasts in attempt to make significant progress in paranormal studies.

Will Judean Desert find shed light on Shroud of Turin?
Can a 6,000-year-old shroud uncovered in the Judean Desert in 1993 help illuminate the centuries-old debate over the Shroud of Turin? That is the question posed by Olga Negnevitsky, a conservator at the Israel Museum who was involved in the conservation of the lesser-known shroud for the Antiquities Authority after it was discovered inside a small cave near Jericho.

Mysterious images emerge from Mars
The space probe Phoenix touched down on Mars Sunday and beamed back some strange, new pictures of the planet and its alien surface. Ground controllers at NASA observed some unexplainable images which prompted the question: could there be intelligent life on Mars? The pictures sent from the Phoenix Lander depicted images of strange phenomena, including a distant white entity unlike anything else on the red planet's surface. Dismissive scientists believe it to be simply another large rock, but others aren't so quick to discount all possibilities.

A message from the afterlife
Psychics, spirits, ghosts and the afterlife are always tricky issues to navigate due to the blinding lack of evidence. Yet at the same time millions, if not billions of intelligent people the world over accept as fact such concepts as the world being created in seven days, virgin birth, resurrection, and heaven and hell. But just because a lot of people believe the same thing, it doesn’t necessarily make it true. The vast majority once thought the world was flat and those who said otherwise were persecuted.

Florida man selling ghosts
A St. Augustine man is selling containers filled with what he describes as ghosts. John Deese said he has ghosts trapped in bottles. “This was actually the first one that was caught, in Decatur County, Ga., in an old farmhouse,” Desse said, showing off one ghost in a bottle. While Deese said he contracts with professional ghost catchers around the country and that it’s the ghost catchers who actually stuff the phantasms into a bottle, he wouldn’t elaborate on exactly how the ghosts get into the bottles.

100 explosions recorded on the Moon
Not so long ago, anyone claiming to see flashes of light on the Moon would be viewed with deep suspicion by professional astronomers. Such reports were filed under "L" ... for lunatic. Not anymore. Over the past two and a half years, NASA astronomers have observed the Moon flashing at them not just once but one hundred times.

Don't know about anyone else but I got major energy surges up and down my spine the first time I saw the picture of the "white entity" as NASA called it, beamed back from our friendly but silent neighbor Mars. I recall reading an interview with the late Arthur C. Clarke, shortly after NASA discovered what looked to be lava tubes running in a recognizable pattern. His sentiment was pretty much that it was about damn time that they were discovered and seen for what they were...evidence of a long lost civilzation that had once taken at least temporary residence there. So, any ideas of what this mysterious white object could be?

Add this to my "firsts"...my goddaughter's mother asked me to drop by for a tea and, upon arrival, was immediately put to work, under the watchful eye of the camera lens of her new camera. Believe it or not, I had never actually held a baby and fed them from a bottle...lol. How pathetic is that?...LOL! So it was my first feeding, likely not my last (I hope). Tallyah's eyes are now fully open and it was a moving experience to look into them...and have her looking back.

Experimented with another method for working with numbers, namely lotto, with some interesting resulting observations. One of the questions that popped into my mind, on both occasions I used this, was if I would be disappointed if I did not win. In both cases, I had to truthfully admit to a certain amount. It was, of course, my guides weighing in and I recognize that fully. One number, however, that I have been "urged" to take note of, prior to employing this method, is 8. Two draws in a month were for 8 million and I followed my normal procedure of requesting a sign to indicate I should proceed and received it, on both occasions. Strangely enough, I knew that my answer about being disappointed would indicate the outcome, even before I got the tickets. I found it to be a fascinating procedure...all these small variables would present themselves, based on bits and pieces scattered around this brain of mine. The first seemed almost like a dry run, while the second pretty much confirmed the validity of the process.

In the first, I scored on only one number: 41...the second I also only scored on one number: 14...Hmmmm, what are the chances of getting the same two number combination, simply rearranged, two weeks apart? Also got 8,4,4 from the Encore on the second draw....do those numbers reflect 8 in any way to you?

Outside of this, I've also been working with my guides on sending me messages through my dreams. I awoke one morning with the number 14 going through my mind (before the second attempt) and when I requested some clarification the following evening, I awoke thinking of an enormous bowl of ice cream. My own interpretation of these events have been largely influenced by the recent work with my guides but I will tell you, round 3 is in the not-too-distant future.

So, why a preoccupation with numbers, you might ask? Part of it stems from simply wanting to be more aware of resources when they become available, so that I can take appropriate action. Another aspect involves remote viewing, an ability I dicovered hidden inside me some years ago. Occasionally, I work this psychic muscle by viewing a target to two but, if you're familar with the process of remote viewing, you'll know there is one detail that even an experienced RVer will find next to impossible...numbers. For some reason, they can't be seen using this method. (Which is why you will never hear of a person using remote viewing to pick winning numbers. Any system or person that makes such claims I would find highly suspect.)

In trying to take into account all that has happened on my path, just in the last few months, a central idea has been swimming around in my consciousness, picking up steam. While all of this mediumship training is fascinating, I can't see myself in a future career, sitting in a room, doing readings for people. I want to use these abilities and knowledge in a very specific way, kind of like a specialist medium. My sole goal would be to find missing or lost people or objects. There, I said it out loud...

I gave up asking the "why", when I'd feel drawn towards a new idea and then spend a period of time examining it in detail. There was always something that was relevant or reinforced another aspect of my learning...damn, my guides never sleep...lol. In some cases, I was stunned to see that I had actually been heavily involved in "setting up" obtaining this new knowledge, sometimes a few weeks before. Believe it or not, the notion of using my abilities to find lost or missing people began to circulate long before now....and well before I knew that I had any gifts or spirit guides to work with.

Some years ago, A New Zealand newspaper stated that a Mr. X was a "defective in the police force". The next day an attempt was made to correct the error but it came out, "Mr. X is a detective on the police farce."

A famous misprint: "The general will remain unequaled in history for his accomplishments on the bottlefield."

Obviously meaning a bridge, a Kansas paper said,"The bride is twenty feet wide, from buttress to buttress."

News Item: "Rudy Vallee, the well-known crooner and radio singer, was shaken up and bruised when his car left the highway and turned over. It is feared that his vocal cords were not injured."

House and Garden was supposed to have missed this little gem: "Nothing gives a greater variety to the appearance of a home than a few undraped widows."

North Dakota Paper: "The next meeting of the Legion will take place on Feb.10. Every man who has died for his country is cordially invited."

Headline in a Calfornia paper: "Two Convicts Evade Noose, Jury Hung."

Note from an art critic's column: "They could not find the artist so they hung his picture."

Samuel Moore was not only an inventor but a painter of considerable talent as well. At one time, he was quite proud of his canvas depicting Christ riding on an ass into Jerusalem and asked a friend to tell him frankly what he thought. The friend inspected it carefully and said, "Your donkey is the savior of your picture."

The dangers of communication: "I heard through the grapevine that that your brother just left Penn State and is now living at the Park Central." The confused reply: "Well, it's not quite like that. My brother just got out of the state penn and is living in Central Park."

See you in the ether !

Me, bored? Whatever made you think that? ;)

I was playing with the idea of maybe getting a tarot deck, but you know me: ever the skeptic. Plus, i'm cheap, so i don't want to spend money on something i'm not sure i'll want (especially since i'm stretched for money... stupid economy not letting me get a job).

I'm glad I surfed by. I keep checking in from time to time because I have always always always wondered (and sometimes worried) where you were headed in your studies and adventures. For awhile, I really thought you were going to become a shaman, which would have been cool, but your aspirations to find missing people or objects is to be commended. ~applause~ I can't think of a more wonderful way to utilize your gifts, talents and skills.
~Bravo~ I'm smiling for you, my friend, because I know you'll be an asset and a positive influence to everyone you encounter. :)

Wishing you the best of the best each and every day!

I figure you'll remember me, even though it's been awhile. I'm the Dee with the puppydog Penny.

Thanks so much for your wonderful comments. I enjoy reading your thoughts as they inspire much pondering in this old brain of mine. I started a reply to you, but it got too long and rambley because it's about a lesson I learned recently, a hard lesson to be sure, but one that makes me a better person. I worked on the reply it all afternoon and evening and it got totally out of hand, so I posted it on my blog. ;) I didn't realize I had so much to say about it.

That was a good lesson that you learned. Honesty is an issue with me as well and has much to do with my lesson that I learned. Losing trust is sad pill to swallow, isn't it? But I think we are the wiser for the lessons.

Penny has grown into a fat and sassy adult dog and she's quite the nurse maid. The only time her actions really worries me is when she constantly hovers around me because you can bet that I will be sick shortly. She's the same way with Guy. I'm like you, though, I do pay attention to what she's paying attention too. I do believe dogs have a sixth sense or something akin to it. At the moment, there's quite a bit of work going on in a field across the way, so I'm thinking that Penny's hearing that. It just unnerves me when she's so nervy. lol

Thanks for visiting my new place. I'm hoping that seeings how I have control of the website that I can keep those persistent spammers away. Gotta admire their ingenuity... NOT!

I have problems with getting Bravejournal to load right. It stalls, times out and will sometimes crash my browser... so that's one of the big reasons I moved to my site and shut down my journal.

Drop by and visit anytime!
Take care, my friend and have a wonderful weekend.
I'll be popping by again soon.

Oh one more thing... What's a Grimoire?
I'm Just curious...

Ah, its always wonderful hearing from you my dear friend ! I've been a bit absent myself lately, so I apologize for my taking a few days before I could respond to your comment. I have a set of Oracle cards- they're Faery Ring Oracle cards by Anna Franklin. My point of advice for anyone who is getting into tarot card reading-- don't "research" which cards you wanna get... just go in the store- and whichever ones capture your attention and you get that feeling like 'you have to have those cards'.. then those are the cards for you.

Another thing with tarot cards- they're not always by the book. sometimes you need to trust your psychic intuition on their meaning and relation to the question or questionner. I hope I have helped some.

Just keep practicing and playing with them. That's how you learn. Other than that, I hope all is well with you my dear friend and that you're having many wonderful journies!
